KEY to the City

Unlock the Neon City!

Lets get started by breaking Vegas into three major categories (click on any of the three pictures below to begin your journey):

The Strip

The strip is a roughly 4 miles of Las Vegas Boulevard that runs from The Strat (the north end) to Mandalay Bay (the south end.) Many of the largest hotel, casino, and resort properties in the world are on the Strip, known for its contemporary architecture, lights, and wide variety of attractions. Its hotels, casinos, restaurants, residential high-rises, entertainment offerings, and skyline have established the Strip as one of the most popular and iconic tourist destinations in the world.

Downtown

Downtown Las Vegas is the central business district and historic center of Las Vegas, Nevada.  As the urban core of the Las Vegas Valley, it features a variety of hotel and business high-rises, cultural centers, historical buildings and government institutions, as well as residential and retail developments. Downtown is located in the center of the Las Vegas Valley and just north of the Las Vegas Strip, centered on Fremont Street, the Fremont Street Experience and Fremont East.

Elsewhere

Elsewhere: Everything Not on the Strip or Downtown. Many of these will be “Locals Casinos.”

A locals casino is a casino designed primarily to attract residents of the area in which it was built rather than tourists or vacationers. Locals Casinos typically have movie theaters, bowling alleys, kids and family activities and lower cost dining options.

We will also use this category to discuss freestanding attractions that are not connected to any resort and are not located near The Strip or Downtown.
